Cerreto D'esi

It is a castle of medieval origin, characterized by a tower built in the (III century): square inside and round outside, 25 meters high and known for its slope. Known as Torre Belisario, it takes its name from the Roman general who, according to legend, founded the village of Cerreto d'Esi.

Today it is a small quiet village, ideal for those who love nature and silence with hiking trails on foot or by bike and also food and wine of the traditional local cuisine.

Among the events the oldest is the Grape Festival which takes place on the 3rd week of September, set around the castle with cellars, food stands, typical dishes and local wines (Verdicchio)
